Auto-Send to Parents via WhatsApp
When auto-send is enabled, a WhatsApp message is sent to all parents of students in that class the moment the assignment is saved. The message contains the full homework description, all attached files, the due date, and the subject. Parents receive it on the same WhatsApp they already use, with no app or account needed.
Completion Detection from Replies
When a parent replies to a homework notification with words like "done", "completed", "hogaya", "kar liya", or similar phrases in English or Hindi, Chatmadi's AI detects this as a completion confirmation and marks the student complete. The teacher sees the completion in real time without any action on their part.
Photo Submission via WhatsApp
Parents can send a photo of their child's completed homework directly on WhatsApp. Chatmadi downloads the image from Meta's servers and saves it permanently in the homework submission gallery. The teacher can view all photo submissions in a grid, open each one in a lightbox, and download them. Photos are stored permanently, unlike WhatsApp's standard 30-day media window.
Rubric-Based Grading
Attach a grading rubric to any homework assignment. Rubrics can be analytic (multiple criteria with individual weights summing to 100%) or holistic (single overall performance level).
